Shivani Saini’s career in television began at the age of 15 when she started volunteering at a local cable station in Edmonton. Driven by a passion to produce distinct and engaging stories, Shivani also participated as both a producer and a director in a special youth camp put on by the National Screen Institute.

In 2000 she graduated from Ryerson’s prestigious Radio and Television Arts program and since that time her production experiences have been extensive. She’s spent over 10 years working for CTVglobemedia on a variety of productions, and has produced over 450 hours of original programming. She’s written, directed, and produced both live and prepackaged shows (half hour and one hour), various specials and interstitial programs. In addition Shivani has a myriad of on-air experience as both a host and reporter.

In 2007 Shivani made the move to independent production and joined Reel Girls Media as an Associate Producer. She’s thrilled to contribute to the success of Reel Girls Media, and excited to further develop her craft as a storyteller.
