Lisa Vanderlip is the Manger of Communications at CWC. In this role, she is currently spearheading a social media campaign to boost member engagement and interaction. To her to position at CWC, Lisa brings over 10 years of sales, product development and marketing experience in the consumer goods industry.
Lisa first distinguished herself as a top performing sales agent and then as a product developer for a major Canadian fashion manufacturer, creating product lines for retail giants such as Club Monaco and Ann Taylor. In the late 1990's, she began designing and producing her own wholesale line, Ripe, traveling frequently to Nepal, China and India to source materials and to work with skilled artisans directly. Her products lines sold well in independent and chain stores across Canada. In 2005, Lisa shifted career paths and enrolled in Niagara College's post-graduate public relations program, where she earned herself a place on the Dean's honour list for achieving the top marks in her class.
Lisa also volunteers as a writer and an editor for the Canadian Public Relations Society's Hamilton and Toronto chapters' newsletters, writing articles on topics such as social media and public relations best practices.
