Judith Campbell became Vice President of CWC in 2002 after volunteering for the association for 8 years and as a member of the Steering Committee that established the BC Chapter in 1994. Most of Judith’s career has been in and around the radio industry. While still in the RTA (Ryerson) program, she began working for Standard in Toronto in promotions and sales. She moved on to Rogers in Vancouver where she changed jobs every January - she did everything from promotions and traffic reports to programming their heritage AM station to Operations Manager of a national radio syndication network (Satellite Radio Network). When SRN was sold to Pelmorex, Judith acted as the Rogers liaison in the deal. In 1996 she moved to Terrace, BC to become General Manager of 4 radio stations and a television station where the broadcast footprint spanned the distance of a 7-hour drive. Her next move brought Judith back to Vancouver to the world of doing freelance voice-overs and consulting on automation systems in both Canada and the States. In 2000 she began a job that became one of her true joys - teaching radio at BCIT in Vancouver. In 2001, she moved to Toronto where she began working for CWC. In June 2007, Judith left CWC to complete her Masters in Media Production at Ryerson University, where she has also been teaching part time.
