Janice McDonald is an entrepreneur experienced in strategic planning, development and management of multi-million dollar business operations with specific expertise in the music business. She is consistently successful in analyzing market trends and capitalizing on market opportunities to create and implement high profit and high visibility partnerships and new businesses through innovative marketing and media solutions.

Janice has a B.A. in Communications [Cum Laude] and an M.A. in Canadian Studies. She is the co-owner of CD Warehouse, one of Canada’s top independent music stores with three locations in Ottawa for almost 17 years. She is a founding partner in mymusic.com, an internationally regarded online music store which specializes in physical and digital goods fulfillment for national partners. Mymusic also creates branded sites for national companies. She is a partner in Pop Culture Records, a new music label representing Canadian talent including Amos the Transparent. Janice has been a music reviewer and interviewer for several magazines and a weekly radio show host with Kevin Nelson from Majic 100 for over 10 years. She is an active volunteer on numerous boards and fund-raising initiatives in Ottawa including the newly built Royal Ottawa Hospital.
