Heather Boyce is Director, English Television Affiliates at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Toronto. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the contractual relationship between CBC and its private broadcaster affiliate stations, overseeing all points of contact, operational, administrative, and strategic. In addition, Heather also oversees the described video and closed captioning accessibility files for CBC English TV Network management.

Heather was born in Charlottetown, PEI, attended UPEI (BBA), and began her career with CBC there in 1981, as a commercial producer. Several years later she moved into Sales, eventually working in management in Toronto and Halifax. In 1999, Heather left CBC for full time study at York University’s Schulich School of Business, graduating with her MBA (specializing in Arts and Media Management) in 2000. In 2001, she returned to CBC in Toronto to work on the affiliate file she manages today.

Heather is married to Sean Kilbride, a professional drummer. They live in the wonderful Danforth Greektown neighbourhood in central Toronto with their two beloved kitties, Tappy and Doug.
